Farmstand
Days and Hours of Operation
Hey friends, it’s with bare trees and sad hearts that we announce that we will NOT be opening for cherry season this year. Sadly, the starlings—an invasive and aggressive cherry-eating flock of birds and now, our chosen enemies—descended on our cherries again this year, and while that left the birds fat, loud, and happy, it left our trees totally bare. We work hard every year to try to combat them, but this year, they took over and left us without any fruit to pick. BUT, here’s some good news!! There are some other great you-picks happening this season including Stagecoach Lane Ranch for cherries Boysen Berry Farm for boysenberries, and Sierra Cascade Blueberry Farm for blueberries! And of course, the peach and nectarine crop here on the farm is looking good this year! Historically, the birds haven’t been an issue with these, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed that they eat their cherries and scram! We’ll post official updates as soon as we have them for Peach and Nectarine season opening, but that’s typically a late-June start! Thank you all for all your excitement and support. We understand missing cherries is disappointing, but we are excited to see you all for peaches this summer |
