Ants
There are multiple ant species in the orchard.  We have tried to manage the biting/stinging species to help make your visit a good one.  However there may still be ant colonies in the orchard.  Please watch out where you and your children are standing and make sure you don't put your picking bucket on an ant mound.  We recommend wearing closed toed shoes.

Bees/Wasps
Bees and wasps visit the orchard on a daily occurrence.  While picking fruit it is always a good idea to know what you are grabbing since bees sometimes land on fruit.

Snakes
Not many snakes have been found in the orchard through the years.  Although it is always important to know your surroundings.
